I think not! Especially when you fuse some Drum & Bass with a little 2-Step, then you get this track from Delta Heavy (which is very fitting given their name with the hard bass drops and DnB progression of the song). Just a little something to spice up your Wednesday and feed the palette just what it has been craving.

If there is any ‘change in the air’, then it would have to be from this new remix of Morgan Page‘s track ‘In The Air’ by Mord Fustang. Just one of the many reasons for loving the EDM scene is when tracks like this surface! Mord Fustang puts out an insane mix of a song you may love, or hate, and adds a completely unique feel to the track. This will do a lot of Morgan Page fans justice as well, so don’t just kick it to the back-burner and check it now!

Voice Of An Angel

Boasting a Grammy nomination for her song ‘Fantasy‘ (Morgan Page remix), this globally renowned singer/songwriter is just warming up.  Those who have listened to her work can testify that Nadia Ali truly does have the voice of an angel.

Recognized as one of EDM‘s leading ladies, her melodious, elegant vocals have been featured by the likes of Avicii, Alesso and even Armin van Buuren to begin the lengthy list. Though Nadia grew up loving an extensive variety of musical genres, her experiences across the world (born in Libya, moved to Pakistan and then New York in the 1980’s) helped foster her desire to maintain diversity in her collaborations.

‘Rapture’, the haunting track produced as a result of Nadia‘s work with iiO, thrust her to the top of the EDM scene. Her voice quickly because a sound that resonates within each song it is featured in.

And to think, this is only the beginning framework of Nadia’s career. We have a lot to look forward to with this songstress paving the way for females in the EDM industry.  Here is a little sampler of Nadia Ali.

Nadia Ali | Pressure (Alesso Remix)

Nadia Ali | Fantasy (Tritonal Air Up There Intro Mix)

Spencer Hill ft. Nadia Ali | Believe It (Original Mix)

Armin van Buuren ft. Nadia Ali | Who Is Watching

Nadia Ali ft. Mike Candys | When it Rains

Sultan & Ned Shepard ft. Nadia Ali | Call My Name (Spencer & Hill Remix)

A Pick Up For Any Moment.

This progressive house track was just released by Marcus Schossow, and we can honestly say that it has lifted us up through this week and into the weekend.  With a a very Morgan Page like feel, this track, entitled “Swedish Nights” has a wonderful melodic feel that can’t help but shoot your spirits up.  The vocals, drop and mesh of sound collide to create a truly beautiful combination.  Enjoy. We hope you feel it like we do…ginger DJs rule!

New Music For Your Saturday

The title really says it all for this post and that’s exactly what we’re giving to all you fiends out there. We have a bunch of new beats from a wide range of artists on this rainy Saturday evening, so check it!

The first song is an excellent remix done by Hardwell to ‘In The Air’ —Off the new Morgan Page EP ‘In The Air’–.

After having just come back from seeing Pretty Lights absolutely KILL @ The Gorge, well this song had to be put up.

This is a MONSTER of a remix from Tim Mason, with a lot of hard drops and all the right ingredients for non-stop dancing on the floor.

Sander van Doorn does it right with the song ‘Eagles’ and I couldn’t be happier that he added Adrian Lux on this track. It makes for an amazing collaboration and simply gets us more excited for Sander’s new album, ‘Eleve11′ .

The last song is just as joyous as the previous, but will bring up your spirits none the less and is totally worth the download.

Global Dance Festival 2011 | Red Rocks

This year a few of #TheUsualSuspects won VIP tickets from Benny Benassi himself to head to Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado.  Needless to say, the Festival threw down…hard.  Avicii, Morgan Page, Gareth Emery, Benassi, Emma Hewitt and more all blew our minds, not to mention the Amphitheater was one of the best venues sound-wise any of us have seen.  Check out the highlight reel from the final day.

Yeah….we know, filthy.
